City: Fukuoka, Japan
Venue: Fukuoka-shi Kyuden Kinen Taiikukan
Date: April 30, 1979

Setlist:
We Will Rock You (slow/fast), Let Me Entertain You, Somebody To Love, Death On Two Legs, Killer Queen, Bicycle Race, I'm In Love With My Car, Get Down Make Love, You're My Best Friend, Now I'm Here, Teo Torriatte, Dreamer's Ball, Love Of My Life, '39, It's Late, Brighton Rock, Keep Yourself Alive, Bohemian Rhapsody, Tie Your Mother Down, Sheer Heart Attack, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, God Save The Queen

Don't Stop Me Now is dropped for the two nights in Fukuoka, probably to give Freddie's voice a break since it's one of the more difficult songs of the set to sing. That said, his voice has settled down a bit after the long string of shows, allowing him to put in a better performance tonight.

Brian, during the band intro: "On squeaky clean maracas, Mr. Freddie Mercury."

The wrong backing tape in Bohemian Rhapsody is used tonight (see Richfield '78 for details).

This one plays a bit slow and is pretty muddy-sounding overall.

This alternate source sounds a tad better. There's only one minute of It's Late and about 7 minutes of Brighton Rock.

This Japanese CDR label bootlegged both audience sources in November 2008, and both sound better than anything that was previously available. The first source, particularly, is a noticable upgrade.

For discs 1 and 2, Uxbridge has carefully patched in the second source (with seamless cross-fades) where there were cuts in the first source to make it as complete as possible (except for God Save The Queen). And part of It's Late is still missing, as most of the song is missing on the second source.

Discs 5 and 6 of the package are from the following night. All in all, this is a very impressive debut Queen release by this label.
