Wardour bootlegged the audience tape in 2008. It doesn't sound quite as good as the RoIO above, as it has been digitally processed a great deal (its frequency analysis cuts off at only 6kHz, as opposed to mp3's usual 16kHz). This alternate source emerged in May 2010. It is a much better recording of the show, although still a bit distant. The taper used two different recording devices to create stereo sound. He believes they were both TCM-100Bs, but he stated the possibility that he may have used a TC-1100 for the right channel. Either way, they ran at different speeds and he managed to correct all but one track, It's Late, which is a somewhat jarring listen as the two channels are a quarter-tone apart in pitch (but not speed). |
