This show was originally scheduled to be performed at the Badalona Pavillion in Barcelona. Freddie hits a few wrong chords on the piano in the Don't Stop Me Now intro, but he manages to make his way through it. During the beginning of Dreamer's Ball, he adlibs, "Take me baby... you can take me any way you like!" Before the vocal brass section he says, "Alright, dream on." In an interview the next day, Brian was unusually frank about the show: "I thought last night was not as good as it should've been, for various reasons, and I think tonight will be a lot better. We had very high expectations of last night, but it didn't quite live up to it for us. We had some technical problems and sound problems, and there was a certain untogetherness which we all knew was there but we couldn't really do anything about, you know? We just looked at each other and said, 'hey, it's not quite clicking'." I don't know, it just seemed a little quiet. The whole thing was a little low key. We're putting a lot of energy into it but it didn't actually seem to come out as big as it should've done. I have to be honest, because I always enjoy playing, and it's always a buzz to play, and yet sometimes you feel that you didn't quite pull it off as you wanted to. When you come off stage you know." Freddie is interviewed as well, and his reaction is similar: "I felt they were a bit restrained last night. Maybe they expected something more, because they were reading all the New Orleans stories." They could've been looser, but maybe we're spoiled as well because we've had German and French audiences going absolutely berserk." The photo was taken by Martin J.
