The first nine pictures were taken by Christoph Könen, pics 10-13 were submitted by Janneman, pics 24-25 were snapped by Dany Keutgen, and pic 26 is from the collection of Denis O'Regan, the band's official photographer from 1977 through 1986.

As seen in the first picture, Brian May joins support act Marillion part way through the last song of their set, Market Square Heroes (a recording of their whole set exists) - Fish introduces him near the end of the song as "the consummate Mr. Brian May." In turn, Fish joins Queen to sing Tutti Frutti, as he had done about a month ago in Mannheim. Freddie campily says, "Oh, Mrs. Fish is coming on."

It's Brian's 39th birthday today, and the audience sing him happy birthday a few times. Freddie responds to it after Under Pressure. "That's right. He's 45 years old today!"

Brian plays a great guitar solo. At one point he tripped and fell down a staircase on stage and didn't miss a beat (it's impossible to detect on the audience recordings). This is followed by a stellar version of Now I'm Here.

Now that he has turned 39, Brian plays a bit of '39 before Love Of My Life, after jokingly admitting that people take up rock guitar because they can't grow up! "That's me. So I'm nine years old today, alright?" He adds that it's the biggest birthday party he's ever had.

They play a great version of Another One Bites The Dust. No two versions from this tour are alike, as Freddie is creative in his improv with the audience every night. After the song, he does his usual speech about the break-up rumours, using a bit of German: "Many people are talking about the fact that Queen are gonna... kaputt. That's not true, okay?"

Before Bohemian Rhapsody, the band play Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting for the last time (perhaps because it's actually a Saturday night?), a song they had covered periodically over the last ten years.

Freddie is in a great mood tonight, and in great voice, delivering an excellent performance.

Part way through the first verse of Radio Ga Ga, Freddie accidentally sings the second verse's lyrics, so he mumbles the next couple lines before he gets back on track.

Like in Mannheim, the complete show was filmed as a rehearsal for the upcoming Budapest extravaganza, but the footage was allegedly taped over after it was deemed "unimportant" by the person in charge of the operation.

Here's a recent article with great black and white photos from the show.

This audience source was taped close to the stage, and sounds great.

Another One Bites The Dust is missing about 25 seconds for a tape flip, and there's a tiny cut early in the guitar solo (during which the taper did some panning tricks whilst transferring in efforts to emulate Brian's stereo delay).

This three-disc package released in August 2009 is a combination of Queen's set and Marillion's opening set. The Queen portion uses both sources 1 and 2 to complete the show.

This third audience source is in reasonably good quality, but it has a lot of hiss as it's many tape generations from the master.

Most of Crazy Little Thing Called Love is missing.
