The second night was added in the second week of November, as the first night sold out very quickly.

Freddie, after the first song: "Thank you and good evening everybody! Are you ready to rock and roll with Queen? Yes, it was a really good show last night. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful welcome. Thank you, New York. This is Brighton Rock."

Before the medley, he takes a sip of champagne. "Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. While I take my medicine, we'd like to do something that we did last night." He then introduces the medley, and adds, "we hate calling it a medley, anyway. This is something a bit better than that."

Freddie responds to an audience member after the medley. "What do you want? What's your request? Flick Of the Wrist? You got it." This definitely isn't the case. However, they do have a surprise in store for anyone who wasn't at the Garden last night. Intending to give a different show on the second night, Queen omit It's Late (which seems to be dropped until the last night of the tour at the L.A. Forum), Spread Your Wings, and My Melancholy Blues from the set (oddly dropping three new songs when trying to promote their latest album), but they do revive something they dropped from the setlist on the last US tour. He continues, "Okay, on with the show. We'd like to take you back to the very first album of ours, for all you fanatics. We'd like to do a couple numbers from that, and to start off with a song written by Brian May. This is called Doing All Right." The song is heard on stage seemingly for the last time. A stellar version of Liar follows, and Keep Yourself Alive is done later in the show, as always. But generally Queen's first two albums would feature less often in the show from now onward.

Before White Man, Freddie says: "This next song is a real bitch to sing. It really requires a lot of my voice, but we're gonna do it anyway, because I have masochistic pleasure in doing it for you, my little darlings."

During the Jailhouse Rock medley, they cover Elton John's "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" much to the delight of the audience.

"Thank you, god bless you; it was a pleasure doing business with you tonight," declares Freddie at the end of the show.

Here's a pretty negative review of the show. And to counter it, a fan's recollection from 2019.

The second and third photo sets were taken by Rik Perry and Robert Miyares respectively. The last two shots were submitted by Juan Guarino (and cleaned up by Rudolf Griva), which could be from either night at the Garden.

Here are a few more photos from this gig by Joe Gliozzo - they are fabulous shots.

The recording has a very warm stereo sound to it. There are two cuts for tape flips.

Previous versions used a mono unconfirmed gen copy for the first three songs, but here they come from a new transfer of the tape. Unfortunately the tape did not survive the test of time and the transfer isn't perfect in a few spots.

At the tail end of the first heavy section of Doing All Right, a fan near the taper simply says "wow," marvelling at the vocal harmonies of the record being replicated live.

Trial bootlegged both nights in a 4-disc package. For the second night, they used the copy of the audience tape that had circulated for years - the old first generation transfer with the inferior mono copy for the first three songs.

Breakdown bootlegged this show in 2012 as part of a 4-disc set consisting of both nights at the Garden. It is unlikely that there is any new material here.

This second audience source came to light in 2021, although it apparently made the rounds on CDR in the 2000s. It's about the same quality as the first source (although mono), and the taper presses pause during The Prophet's Song (also skipping out on the guitar solo altogether) presumably because he wanted to save space for "songs" as he only had a 90-minute tape.
