The first pic was taken during Tie Your Mother Down by Herbye Mitchell. The remaining pics were taken by Vernon L. Gowdy III.

Here is a review of the show.

Technically the city should be University Park, which is part of Dallas County, but I will still call this one Dallas because mailing addresses in this city use Dallas as the city designation.

A recording of a radio promo for the show exists on tape, as does Super 8 footage of both Queen and Thin Lizzy.

While in Dallas, Brian May went to a legendary Mother Blues club and saw a band whose guitarist named Rocky Athas did two-fingered tapping. This was Brian's first exposure to the technique (which Athas said he nicked off Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top), which he would incorporate into his style as heard on It's Late on Queen's next album. The following year Eddie Van Halen would take this style of playing into the stratosphere.

This slightly distant footage is a great document of Queen's pyrotechnics and light show on this tour.
