Thanks to Julien Cohen for tracking down this Thin Lizzy website confirming where exactly on campus this concert took place.

Freddie and Brian address the enthusiastic audience as the people of Maryland, not of College Park, even though it's a city in its own right.

The band cover Elton John's "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" in the Jailhouse Rock medley. It would periodically show up throughout the year, but it would be heard more regularly in the 80s, particularly on the Works tour.

Although Queen is mentioned in the title, this review from the next day's Washington Post is only of the support act, Thin Lizzy.

The quality on this one is a bit rough, but still listenable.

There are several cuts in Brighton Rock. Some other versions of the audience tape are missing a 30 second section near the end the guitar solo.
