After the band played Seven Seas Of Rhye, an audience member led some people in the front rows to sing the "I do like to be beside the seaside" bit as it's heard on the album. Freddie reportedly addressed him, saying, "Shut up, you drunk." They encored with Big Spender and Jailhouse Rock, as confirmed by someone who saw the show. This may have been the case every night, but very little is known about this early Queen tour. A book full of stories about the hundreds of concerts at this venue (including this Queen concert) and the West Runton Pavilion over the years, called "What Flo Said," is available for purchase here: http://www.whatflosaid.co.uk |
