After he showers the audience with some cold beer, Freddie introduces a new song. "We're gonna try something new tonight. This is a phase that we're going through right now. But don't worry about it. Everybody thinks we're gonna turn black or something. It's not gonna be that. We love the black people, anyway. This is Staying Power." Before Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Freddie introduces keyboardist Fred Mandel as a "local boy from Toronto." I've met many people who attended this show, and they all recalled how the Gardens was far from full. One person mentioned how the audience was pretty restrained until Tie Your Mother Down, when people finally charged toward the stage. He recalled the excitement of watching Queen finally playing a couple "old songs". As we know, not many songs from the first few albums would be played on this tour, as the band were focusing on the two most recent studio albums - recalling the success of The Game and trying to market Hot Space. The first 5 pictures were taken by Gordon Plumridge (colour corrected and sharpened by Nino Trovato) and the last one is by Michael Richmond. Here's a review of the show from the next day's Toronto Sun. It indicates that the second night was far from sold out as well, but it is a very positive review of the show. The Toronto Star had a much more brief recollection of the show.

This average quality audience recording is only missing a bit of the guitar solo for a tape flip. Every known copy has tape speed issues from song to song, and it's uncertain if it's on the master or if it's from a bad dub somewhere down the line.
