The medley is great tonight, particularly Killer Queen.

Freddie's extravagant lifestyle is becoming more evident in Queen's shows. After the raunchy conclusion of Get Down Make Love, he shouts, "Everybody get down, and get laid!"

After You're My Best Friend, he asks everyone what they think of his moustache. He adds, "If Burt Reynolds can grow one, I can grow one. I know he paws more chicks than I do, but I don't give a shit anyway."

This is the first known performance of their soon-to-be smash hit Another One Bites The Dust, during the brief period before it would be a staple in the encore. Needless to say, it would be performed at every show from this point onward (minus Live Aid). These early versions of Dust were pretty loose, with Brian even playing the James Brown-like rhythm guitar part during the first verse, giving it a very different feel. Tonight's version is very funky, and Freddie comes very close to replicating the record.

Freddie briefly gets angry at the sound man for prematurely turning on the vocal echo during Now I'm Here. "Tell them to turn it off!" he shouts.

Since Joseph Sia was a New England-based photographer (having taken photos at 1977 and 1978 shows in New Haven), the fourth picture may be from the Hartford 1980 show (or perhaps Providence). It used to be hosted at the Wolfgang's Vault website.
