This is Queen's first show at the Ahoy, where Queen would play some of their greatest concerts. Freddie has much to say to the audience, like at Earls Court.

Freddie, after he toasts the audience with champagne: "May you come to all our concerts, and have champagne for breakfast tomorrow. Think about it! No, the photographer's not gonna get one. Here! Not him... you!" The eighth picture above was taken during this moment. "Pass it around!"

Brian, before '39: "We have some removals on stage for this number, which involves one of these things (referring to his acoustic guitar). It involves bringing Roger to the front of the stage, and Mr. John Deacon on fretless bass guitar. This is called '39."

Somebody To Love (at least) from this show was filmed by a local TV station. Some of the footage was aired in 1977, but no VHS copies survive. It resurfaced in a 2014 documentary called "Queen Forever In Holland," where about 30 seconds were shown.

Here are three reviews (1, 2, 3) of the show (in Dutch), tracked down and submitted by Raf Foubert.

The second row of live photos was taken by C van Berkel, and pics 13 and 16-18 were taken by Lex Van Rossen (the latter three were submitted by David van Dijk). Some fabulous shots by Andre Nijenhuis can be seen on his website. Pictures 12 through 15 were submitted by Ducksoup.
