Here's a scan of Queen's paycheque for the two gigs in Texas, submitted by Sikke van der Veen.

While in Texas, Brian May went to a bar and saw a band whose guitarist did two-fingered tapping. This was his first exposure to the technique (which the guitar said he nicked off Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top), which he would incorporate into his style as heard on It's Late on Queen's next album. The following year Eddie Van Halen would take this style of playing into the stratosphere.
